| LANE KARTING |
| William Ethan Lane was born on March 25, 1997. We decided to call him by his middle name “Ethan”. After six months of age Ethan was diagnosed with two holes in his heart which required him to have open heart surgery. With lots of prayers from family and friends and the skilled doctors, Ethan is now a strong, smart, determined young man. He is now in fourth grade making perfect grades and is currently enrolled at Eaton Elementary. Ayear round school in Wilmington, N.C. At the moment Ethan is currently involved with a church basketball team and also a soccer league “Cape Fear Soccer Association”. But Ethan’s biggest desire is to race a go-cart and hopefully one day make it big to one of the most popular sports there is today the “NASCAR NEXTEL CUP”. Ethan went to his first race at Darlington Motor Speedway in the year of 2000. Ethan was only four years of age and we were not so sure how he would like it. Let’s just say he didn’t leave his seat very much. His favorite race car driver was none other than famous Bill Elliott. I myself may have had a little something to do with this. But when Bill Retired in 2003 Ethan’s new favorite driver was the young but talented Kasey Kahne. Ethan has been to Darlington Motor Speedway each year ever since his first race. Ethan was also given the opportunity to go to the “Coca-Cola 600” in Charlotte North Carolina. Not only does Ethan enjoy racing but he has also learned much about the sport and how much it takes to put a race car on the track. Ethan enjoys all types of motor sports as long as it’s racing. The closest thing that Ethan has to racing at this time is his X-Box which he plays “NASCAR 2005” any chance his mother and I will allow him. Even though it’s just a game Ethan plays as if it were the real deal with intense concentration with every move he makes. We have told Ethan we would try everything we could to make his dream come true which is to race. Ethan is required to keep his grades up and he knows his school comes first. We are going to try and start a racing team “Lane Karting”. With Ethan go-cart racing we are also hoping it will lead him to a prosperous future in engineering. At this time we are asking for your help as a sponsor. Without your help this effort for Ethan to race may take longer to fulfill. On the following page is a list of sponsorship packages. Please take a moment to look these over and see how you may be able to help us out. Any types of donations are appreciated. Thank you for helping our Child's dream come true. |
